500 Games - 1 Year - Day #1 - Wingspan
As promised, January 1st 2024 brings the start of my (ambitious?) plan to play 500 different board games in 2024. This will include a mixture of new titles, classics, favourites, sequels and both physical and Board Game Arena plays.
I have much of the first half of the year roughly planned out and always intended to start with both an essential title and a personal favourite.....Wingspan!
On a lot of these titles I intended to do reviews and give my thoughts in much more detail, but when it comes to the likes of Wingspan, everyone reading this will know what it is. Suffice to say, as an engine builder I consider this a near perfect introduction to the genre and one of the finest and most repayable games out there.
I will play a lot of games this year, but Id be lucky to play many that I enjoy as much as this!
